It is an undeniable fact that Bollywood actor Salman Khan has a huge fan following, especially female fans, and it keeps increasing by the day.

And call it his "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" or "Bigg Boss 9" effect or his 'most eligible bachelor of B-town' tag, he has received about 10, 000 love letters from his fans across India.

Salman, who along with his "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" co-star Sonam Kapoor was in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, to promote his upcoming film, received a big box full of 10,000 love letters.

Salman's fans in Ahmedabad took the initiative and collected all the love letters and presented it to him before his departure from the city.

"Salman was pleasantly surprised by the gesture and thanked the audiences for showering him with so much love. At home too in Mumbai, the post office in Bandra near his house is flooded with sacks full of letters for Salman," a source said.

Salman is all set to enthrall audiences on the big-screen for the second time this year. After "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", Salman is back on the 75 mm screen with "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", which is a family action drama.

Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, the film features Salman in double role and Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar, Armaan Kohli and Anupam Kher in key roles. "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" will release worldwide on 12 November.
