Popular actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to welcome her first child with husband Raj Nidimoru. The actor is currently enjoying her babymoon in Thailand with Raj and recently shared a series of candid photos and videos on Instagram, where she proudly flaunted her baby bump while spending time by the beach. Her pregnancy glow and radiant smile quickly won over fans.
A day later, several photos and videos began circulating on social media, with many users claiming they were from Samantha's baby shower. However, the viral images are not from a baby shower but from an earlier event.
Samantha's team clarified that the photos were taken during a wedding ceremony and confirmed that no baby shower has taken place so far.
Samantha and Raj are expecting their first child together and are currently in the first trimester. According to an earlier Pinkvilla report, the couple is expected to welcome their baby later this year.

Samantha was last seen in the lead role in Maa Inti Bangaaram. The film follows Swarna, a seemingly innocent newlywed living with her husband in a traditional and conservative household. Directed by B.V. Nandini Reddy, the film features music by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Om Prakash, and editing by Dharmendra Kakarala. It is set to begin streaming on JioHotstar from July 17, 2026.
Samantha will next be seen in the web series Rakt Brahmānd: The Bloody Kingdom, alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Ali Fazal. However, she is currently on an acting hiatus as she prepares to welcome her first child.
