New Delhi, March 23 (ANI): BJP Spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday confirmed that Sri Ram Sene Chief Pramod Muthalik's membership is cancelled after the central BJP instructed the same to the state party. She said that the party felt strongly about the same and therefore have taken this action. Earlier, party leader and Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had also expressed objection over the decision. Muthalik had courted a huge controversy in 2009 after members of his Sri Ram Sene carried out an attack on a pub in Mangalore during which young women were dragged out. He had also carried out a campaign against the celebration of Valentine's Day.
