New Delhi, Jan 11 (ANI): Polling has begun for the Delhi Cantonment Board elections amid elaborate security arrangements on Sunday. Polling began at 8 am in the morning and will go on till 5 pm in the evening. 64 candidates are in fray for eight seats across Delhi Cantonment with Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) being the major political parties contesting the elections. Cantonment Board elections are being seen as a precursor to assembly elections through which political parties will gauge the public mood. The counting of votes will be held on January 12.
