New Delhi, May 14 (ANI): Political leaders greeted US President Barack Obama's reiteration that the White House looks forward to working with India's new government as a compliment to Indian democracy. Obama commended India on the success of holding the largest democratic election on Monday (May 12), and added that the US looks forward to working with the new government. Media relations RSS, Ram Madhav viewed the statement of the American President as a compliment to Indian democracy. Congress leader Satyavrat Chaturvedi commented on the respect that India commands globally, citing the peaceful manner in which the election was conducted in the world's biggest democracy. However, BJP leader Balbir Punj said that the statement is no concession, rather an admission of error of judgement towards Narendra Modi.
