New Delhi, Dec 26 (ANI): Political leaders on Friday said that distribution of enhanced compensation cheques by Home Minister Rajnath Singh to the victims of 1984 riots is taking place in the wake of upcoming polls in Delhi. The leaders said that BJP's steps are now being taken in the wake of Delhi assembly elections as the same is very crucial for the party. Meanwhile, BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that this was a poll promise made by the BJP and the distribution is happening to fulfill that promise. Singh will distribute the cheques of enhanced compensation to the next of the kin of the 1984 anti-Sikh riot victims at Tilak Vihar.
