New Delhi, Nov 7 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Friday after the Election Commission in a letter to the home ministry censured the government for hiking compensation to families affected in the 1984 Sikh riots, saying it violated the model code of conduct. Congress leader Rashid Alvi, reacting over EC’s letter, said that the EC took a right step and condemned the government for breaking the model code of conduct. Leaders from other political parties also echoed similar sentiments.
