Mumbai /Kanpur /Bhagalpur, April 02 (ANI): Political leaders filed their nomination papers on Wednesday to contest the upcoming 2014 general elections, as the world's largest democracy goes to polls. Congress leader and Union Coal Minister Sri Prakash Jaiswal filed Nomination from Kanpur. Meanwhile BJP leader Shanawaz Hussain also filed nomination to fight election from Bhagalpur. Contesting for the third time from Bhgalpur where he had emerged victorious twice in the past expressed optimism that a central government led under the guidance of BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will come into power. In the showbiz city of Mumbai Maharashtra Navanirman Sena (MNS), fielded Bollywood's actor and director Mahesh Manjrekar on the election turf.
