New Delhi, Oct 13 (ANI): Political leaders on Sunday react as Narendra Modi government is to formalize code of conduct for Members of Parliament and state legislators. The government is seeking to avoid the kind of problems that had stalled the functioning of Parliament during the last months of the UPA II government by these measures. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that it is good if the government wants to bring in some code of conduct but it should be acceptable to all the legislators. Meanwhile, CPI leader Atul Anjan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should first keep a check on their corrupt and convicted leaders and then come to formalize andy code of conduct for the parliamentarians.
