Maharashtra, Oct 15 (ANI): Political bigwigs in Maharashtra cast their votes today as polls began for 288 assembly seats in the state. For the first time, all four major parties in the state-the Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena-are contesting assembly elections on their own instead of as alliance partners. Counting of votes will be taken up on October 19.
