Malkangiri, Sep 10 (ANI): Perturbed and frustrated due to the atrocities committed by their leaders, nine Maoists including three woman cadres surrendered before the Odisha Police. The woman cadres were identified as Kumari, Anita, and Susila who were involved in several violent activities. A Maoist, Dashu Khillo, who surrendered, said that they wanted to join the mainstream as their life was always under threat. Disillusioned by their violent ideology and unable to cope up with the pressure exerted by their senior leaders, more and more naxals are surrendering to avoid further exploitation. The frequent surrenders show that despite their militant tactics, Maoists are starting to lose their hold in the remote cut off areas.
