Gaya, Dec 05 (ANI): Nearly 149 bonded labourers, including women and children, rescued from a brick kiln in Uttar Pradesh, were brought to their home district in Bihar. Police rescued them from a brick kiln in Mirzapur district and were brought to Gaya district by the Bihar government. They would be sent to their native villages. The government assured that action would be taken against those involved in the crime. More than 12 million children below the age of 14 are working as domestic servants or other jobs such as in stone quarries, embroidery units, mining, carpet-weaving, tea stalls, restaurants and hotels, according to the government data.
