Aurangabad, Nov 06 (ANI): Police in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra arrested three people for smuggling a golden tortoise. Acting on a tip off, police officials disguised as customers visited the hotel where five smugglers were waiting to sell the rare specie, which is worth at least four billion dollars in Indian market. The three smugglers have been identified as Ganesh Pawar (50), Ramesh Pawar (24) and Shaikh Najib (22). The main accused has been identified as Amol Salve. After the investigation, the police handed over the tortoise to the forest department.
