Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (Pokemon ORAS) has received the Special Battle rules for Season 12.

This comes from trusted Pokemon news site, Serebii that has shared this information. It also noted that the Season 12 is not only specific to Pokemon ORAS but also to Pokemon X and Y.

Season 12 will only be available from 15 September to 17 November, 2015.

Players must note that both these games follow standard league rules. Gen 6 is native only in Pokemon ORAS and players can transfer it to Pokemon X and Y.

Players on Pokemon X and Y and Pokemon ORAS will be competing with each other in the ranking, even with the separate battles, thanks to Special Battle ruleset.

Below are the base rules for the season:

Battle type: Single Battle

Pokemon Restrictions: National Pokedex except Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie and Hoopa

Other rules include ability to pick three Pokemon out of the six given as options. And there cannot be two Pokemon that hold the same hold item.

Pokemon Shuffle Gets New Events

Pokemon Shuffle for Nintendo 3DS gets a new timed challenge that will fetch players Sharpedonite. This event will be running till 14 September, 2015. However, players will have to be in the top 18,000 in the US, 50,000 in Japan and 11,000 in Europe if they want to get Sharpedonite.

Players who are in the top 10,000 in Japan, 3,500 in the US and 2,500 in Europe will land themselves with Mega Speedup.

Those players who are denied Sharpedonite, but are in the top 70,000 in Japan, 25,000 in the US and 16,000 in Europe will be getting an Attack Power Up. Rest of them get Jewel.
