Canberra, Nov 18 (ANI): India and Australia can play their part in expanding their bilateral security cooperation and deepening their international partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region to counter menacing challenges like the threat of terrorism, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. Addressing a joint session of the Australian Parliament in Canberra, the first by an Indian Prime Minister, Modi said that both India and Australia exist in an inter-connected world that faces "shared challenges" that "extend beyond our region."
