New Delhi, Oct 28 (ANI): Vietnam Prime Minister, Nguyen Tan Dung, met his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday (October 28) to boost bilateral and regional ties. Earlier in the day, Dung received a ceremonial reception at Presidential Palace, Rashtrapati Bhawan. Dung, accompanied by his wife, Tran Tanh Kiem, also visited the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and paid rich tributes. Dung arrived in India on Monday and began his two-day visit by landing in Bihar where he visited holy town Bodh Gaya and paid obeisance at Mahabodi Temple, believed to be the site of Lord Buddha's enlightenment. The strengthening of ties between India and Vietnam, in defence as well comes as both are embroiled in territorial disputes with China.
