Washington DC, Sep 30 (ANI): Briefing the media about Prime Minister Narendra Modis first ever meeting with US President Barack Obama, MEA Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said that PM and Obama both shared commonalities and challenges they both faced on assuming power. He said that Obama greeted Modi saying, Khem cho, Mr Prime Minister, which means How are you, Mr Prime Minister in Gujarati language; and Modi responded in English language, Thank you Mr. President. Akbaruddin said Modi laid out his hopes and aspirations for India and his developmental vision in a meeting which lasted 90 minutes. He also said that both the dynamic leaders agreed hat US- Indo relation is most important and it was incumbent for both to strengthen it. Further, he also talked about Modis gifts to President Obama which included a special edition of Bhagavad Gita by Mahatma Gandhi.
