Here is a list of Aamir Khan's his best films since 2000.

'PK'

Recently, the film "PK" in which he played the role of an alien, touched hearts of the audience. Though, the movie is similar to Akshay Kumar-Paresh Rawal starrer "Oh My God!", but it has presented itself in a very fine and crisp way.

'3 Idiots'

Hirani and Khan have created magic on silver screen with blockbuster film "3 Idiots". The film, which also featured R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor Khan, was one of the best films by Mr Perfectionist so far. The then 44-year-old actor portrayed a young college student's role in the film was not an easy task to do.

'Ghajini'

Khan flaunted his six-pack abs and unique hair-cut to promote his film "Ghajini" before its release. The film proved to be a blockbuster and crossed ₹100 crore club for the first time in Indian film industry.

'Taare Zameen Par'

In "Taare Zameen Par", the great actor gave chance to put focus on the debut child actor Darsheel Safary. It was again one of the best films that Khan had been part of. The emotional film touched everyone's heart.

'Fanaa'

Actress Kajol made her comeback to Bollywood with "Fanaa" opposite Khan. The pair sizzled the big screen with their chemistry and acting skills. Khan played the character of a lover as well as a terrorist.

'Rang De Basanti'

The multi-starrer "Rang De Basanti" inspired patriots across the country. The storyline and direction of Mr Perfectionist's movie proved to be a big hit.

'Lagaan'

The Oscar nominated film "Lagaan" made a history in Indian film industry. Khan and director Ashutosh Gowariker did a commendable job with the making of the film.

"PK" actor, once, said, "Like "Taare Zameen Par" went on to do good business and I didn't know it would. I just did it because I liked the script. Also, I selected "Rang De Basanti" because I loved the script. I did "Lagaan" when the entire film industry thought it was a disaster. So these films I have not picked looking at the box office collection, I picked them because I loved them."

'Dil Chahta Hai'

Farhan Akhtar's directorial "Dil Chahta Hai" is a story of three best friends played by Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Khanna. It was a film that is still fresh in everyone's mind and definitely one of the best films of Aamir.
