Rajkumar Hirani, the director of blockbusters like "3 Idiots" and "PK", wants to work with a Tamil star. He has expressed his wish to direct none other than Suriya!
The Bollywood filmmaker was in Chennai on Monday, 4 January, to attend the audio launch of "Irudhi Suttru". He was the special guest at the occasion. After speaking about the movie and Madhavan, Hirani claimed he has seen some works of Suriya and is impressed by them.
Hirani said he hopes to some day work with the talented actor. It has to be noted that Suriya was also present at the music release event of "Irudhi Suttru", which has been simultaneously made in Hindi as "Saala Khadoos", starring Madhavan.
This is not the first time Rajkumar Hirani has attended a Tamil cine event. Earlier, he had graced a function for Ilayathalapathy Vijay's "Nanban", the Tamil remake of "3 Idiots".
Suriya set to start his next
Meanwhile, the stage is set for the launch of Suriya's next movie, which has been referred as "Singam 3" all this while. The movie will begin shooting from 7 January and its name, along with the first look, will be released on the occasion.
The untitled film has been written and will be directed by Hari, and produced by Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green banner. Shruthi Haasan plays the female lead in the upcoming Tamil film.
