Deepika Padukone Promotes 'Piku' in 'Comedy Nights With Kapil'Twitter
Actress Deepika Padukone appeared on "Comedy Nights With Kapil" recently to promote her upcoming flick "Piku". The episode will be aired on 8 May, the day of the film's release, on Colors.
Along with Deepika, actor Irrfan Khan and the film's director Shoojit Sircar also arrived at Kapil Sharma's comedy show. However, Amitabh Bachchan was not present at "CNWK."
The comedian tweeted about the "Piku" star cast and the shooting for the episode.

The Shoojit Sircar directorial explores the heart-warming relationship of a Bengali father and his daughter. Padukone plays the title role of "Piku", while Big B is her cranky father.
But unlike the usual father-daughter bond, the Sircar directorial is a crazy one, where both "Piku" and her father argue with and complain about each other.
Going by the trailer, it looks like the film revolves around Padukone's love for her quirky-natured father who suffers from constipation. In fact, the tagline of the film says "Motion Se Hi Emotion".
The film also stars veteran actress Moushumi Chatterjee in a pivotal role.
