Haasan also warned the government and the people that it would be dangerous for Chennai if the Ennore Creek is ignored.
According to him, the government did not look at the issue when the environmentalists took up the issue of dumping of waste by the power plants, or when the local people also joined them. In addition, Haasan alleged that Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum have built their facilities in the river.
