102 not out movie stills: Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor's film set for grand release

Naseeruddin Shah's soon-to-release film, Hope Aur Hum has an important connection to cricket. The other protagonist of the film, Anu, played by the talented young gun, Kabir Sajid, is a fan of the game through and through. But, off screen, Kabir was clueless about cricket entirely, something that did not go down well with Naseer, who took it upon himself to coach the boy in the ways of the game. Hope Aur Hum produced by Thumbnail Pictures in association with PVR Cinemas releases worldwide on 11th May 2018 in cinemas across India.

A year later the show is coming back with a brand new season. This time around the show will highlight the complexities of being the person belonging to the LGBT community. Derived from the two main characters Simmi and Ruhi, Maaya is the story of acceptance of one's sexuality. Starring two reputable television faces, Leena Jumani from Kumkum Bhagya and Priyal Gor, the story revolves around Simmi who’s a closeted lesbian woman engaged to a man hiding away from her truth and Ruhi, a far more liberal out of the closet girl. The two discover love, acceptance and a desire to be who they truly are in the brand new season of Vikram Bhatt’s Maaya 2, directed by his daughter, Krishna Bhatt. The second season of the show will premiere on VB on the Web on 30th May.

Arpita Khan Sharma shared a picture on Instagram where the entire cast and crew has posed for a picture perfect moment on the film's wrap. She posted the picture captioning,

102 Not Out: Bringing back the evergreen jodi of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor after 27 years, 102 Not Out seems like the completely family film, highlighting the relationship between a 102 year old man, who wants to break the record for the longest living man, with his 75 year old grumpy son and hits the cinemas on 4th May 2018.

Anushka Sharma is seen in an all different avatar, donning a retro look with short curly hair. The actress plays a pivotal role in the film helping the story to unravel.

Coming this summer a heartwarming tale of emotions and stories of three generations will hit the screens on 11th May. Directed by Ace Ad filmmaker, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, Hope Aur Hum is the reminiscent tale of a family in Mumbai whose lives are explored through an  endearing cinematic journey. Hope Aur Hum boasts of an incredible cast including names like Naseeruddin Shah, Sonali Kulkarni, Kabir Sajid, Naveen Kasturia and Aamir Bashir. The story tells the tale of the Srivastava family who's lives are affected by senior most member of the family, Nagesh (Naseeruddin Shah) who’s obsession with his traditional copying machine, called Mr. Sonnecken starts to take a toll on the relationship of the entire family. It’s a simple story of human emotions explored through the lives of each family member as it’s intertwined with each other. With the family revolting against Nagesh’s old ways, the film tells the tale of transition between the old and new, explored through the ideas and idles of three different generations. The film, produced by Thumbnail Pictures and is presented by PVR Pictures will release across cinemas on 11th May, 2018.
