Iconic photo-imaging firm Kodak, in collaboration with British OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) partner Bullitt is reportedly planning to launch new pro-camera series smartphone next month.

Bullitt confirmed that a range of Kodak branded Android smartphones will debut at the upcoming CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2015, Las Vegas.

"Kodak is one of the world's most recognisable brands. It is trusted by consumers as a marque of quality and innovation," said Oliver Schulte, CEO Bullitt Mobile. "We've taken that heritage and used it to inspire a range of beautifully designed devices that will let users take great pictures and edit, share, store and print them in an instant."

Without going deep into the phone's specifications, the company has promised that the upcoming device will have top-of-line camera features such as 'Bespoke image capture' technology, advanced remote image management software along with great design and UI.

Apart from the top-notch photography enhancing features, upcoming Kodak's internal hardware will also be on par with the current crop of high-end flagship smartphones in the market.

With Kodak foraying in to the smartphone business, top pro-camera smartphone makers Microsoft (owner of Nokia Lumia series brand) and Sony will have a new competitor to deal with in 2015.

Kodak-Bullitt will also be launching Android powered tablet, 4G smartphone and a connected camera in the second-half of 2015.
