Apparently, Pete Davidson was seen getting close to none other than Kate Beckinsale at the Netflix Golden Globes party. It is being claimed that Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson 'were outside on the patio and left together' at the Netflix Golden Globes party.
A source has informed Page Six TV that Pete, and Kate, 'were flirting all night and sipping Moët champagne' at the Sunday event. Pete Davidson is coming off a tumultuous split with his ex-fiance popstar Ariana Grande. Pete was having health issues following the split and he was actively trying to avoid Ariana Grande as he claimed that she was not good for his health.
Reportedly, the pair broke up in October, and by the following month, Ariana dropped her smash hit breakup single Thank U, Next and its record-breaking music video.
It is known that Kate shares 19-year-old daughter Lily Sheen with her former boyfriend and Underworld franchise co-star Michael Sheen and from 2004 until 2016, Kate was married to Len Wiseman, director of the first two Underworld movies and a producer on the whole series.
The popular notion of how Michael and I broke up - that we were on [the first Underworld] and I ran off with the director [Len] - is just not true,' Kate told Entertainment Weekly in 2012.
'If that were the case, I think it would be very difficult and peculiar to have an okay situation. But everybody involved has felt that the priority is Lily and wanting to get to a good place for her. And everyone is nice. So it's not bad.'
Reportedly, Michael has said the split 'was obviously not easy, but in the end it was absolutely fine. I think we were both brave to have given each other the opportunity to say: "This isn't making us happy any more. We need to try for something different."'
The Welsh actor, who has done a total of three Underworld films, clarified: 'He's a lovely bloke, Len, and I never felt like anything had gone on behind my back.'
As for Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson becoming an item. We have to say there have been far unlikelier couples in Hollywood.
