The Pawan-Venkatesh starrer is likely to clash with Jr NTR's "Temper," which is also planned for a Sankranti release. There will be reportedly a week's gap between the films' release. Earlier, the makers of "Mukunda," starring Varun Tej (nephew of Pawan Kalyan), had also the announced the film's release during the festival period.

In a bid to avoid clash with biggies like "Gopala Gopala" and "Temper," "Mukunda" makers have advanced the film's release to 24 December as a Christmas treat for fans.

There are big expectations on "Gopala Gopala" as the film stars two big actors of Telugu cinema. The satirical drama is expected to have big openings upon its release in January. Pawan's last release "Attarintiki Daaredi," a family drama, was a huge hit at the box office.

"Gopala Gopala" will be releasing more than a year after "Attarintiki Daaredi" release. Whether the film will be able to impress the audience and reprise the success of the family entertainer is something one needs to wait and watch.
