Post the stupendous success of "Attarintiki Daredi", buzz around Pawan Kalyan's upcoming projects have started to emerge.

Even before "Attariniki Daredi" released, it was announced that the power star will be working in "Gabbar Singh 2." The film was expected to go on floors in January this year, but got delayed due to unknown reasons.

Recently, reports emerged that Pawan is all set to star in the Telugu remake of critically-acclaimed "Oh My God", which hit the screens last year. This led to speculations that "Gabbar Singh 2" was shelved, much to the dismay of fans.

But, here is something for fans to cheer - The most-anticipated "Gabbar Singh 2" has not been shelved and the film is still on track. The team is busy with the scripting and the pre-production work, and the film is expected to start rolling soon.

"Gabbar Singh 2" is not a sequel to 2012-blockbsuter flick "Gabbar Singh" and will have a fresh script. While Pawan will play the male lead role, the team is still looking out for the female lead. Details about other cast members are also still awaited.

"Gabbar Singh 2" will be directed by Sampath Nandi and will be produced by Sharath Marar, a close friend of Pawan.

Apart from this film, Pawan has agreed to work in the Telugu remake of "Oh My God." The film, a multi starrer, will have Venkatesh co-starring with the power star. While Venkatesh will be reprising the role doned by Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal in the original, Pawan will reportedly step into the shoes of Akshay Kumar, who appeared as God in the Hindi version.

The Telugu version, jointly produced by Suresh Productions and Northstar Entertainment banners, is also expected to take off soon. According to reports, Pawan has allotted dates to both the projects in such a way that they progress simultaneously.

More details about both the projects are awaited.
