Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput did not shy away to flaunt her baby bump at Preity Zinta and Gene Goodenough's wedding reception. At the event, the couple were snapped and they looked extremely cute together.
Mom-to-be Mira was seen glowing as she looked gorgeous in a beautiful outfit, while Shahid held his wife's hand the entire time and looked dashing as always. The couple recently returned from their babymoon, which was in Maldives.
They made their first appearance with Mira's baby bump at the Mumbai airport. The cute couple reminded fans of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza. They have been making adorable public appearances since the beginning, and earlier a few photos, which were clicked at Arpita Khan's wedding in 2014, of the Deshmukh pair went viral. At that time, Genelia was pregnant with her first child and now, she is expecting her second baby.
In other news, Shahid had confirmed at the trailer launch of "Udta Punjab" that he was going to become a father. When asked to comment on rumours about his next stage of life, fatherhood, the "Haider" actor told the media: "Why are you asking ghuma firake (round about), ask directly. Yes...haan mein baap banane wala hoon (yes, I am going to become a father)."
Earlier, there have been several reports of Shahid and Mira expecting their first child. Mira was said to be in her second trimester, but the couple did not respond to these reports initially. However, then Shahid confirmed the news and surprised his fans, like he had surprised everyone with his wedding reports last year.
Meanwhile, Shahid is busy taking care of his pregnant wife and has wrapped up the shooting of Abhishek Chaubey's "Udta Punjab" and Vishal Bhardwaj's "Rangoon." He has shared a picture with his wife on social media from Preity's reception and wrote: "@mira.kapoor glowing away."
