Drashti Dhami, who is currently in Austria, shooting for Ekta Kapoor's TV show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil has injured her leg.

The actress sprained her leg when she jumped on the ice and fell down, a source told Tellychakkar.com. The incident took place a few days ago and the shooting had to be delayed by five hours for the injury.

Talking about the same, Drashti said: "I witnessed my first snowfall in Austria. Most days, you will see me roll over ice, playing with it and throwing it around at the crew and Arjun Bijlani. Once I recover from my leg injury, we have a plan to go skiing."

Drashti is paired opposite Arjun Bijlani of Naagin fame and this is for the first time the actors will be seen sharing the screen space on the small screen.

Recently, the Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani actress shared her experience with paranormal activity during her stay in the hotel. She later shifted to another hotel where the entire crew of the show has put up.

Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil will be telecast from November 7 at the 8 pm slot on Star Plus. The show will apparently replace another immensely popular show Siya Ke Ram, which has Ashish Sharma as Ram and Madirakshi Mundle as Sita.

The show is inspired from hit Bollywood film Pardes starring Shah Rukh Khan and Mahima Chaudhry. Arjun will play the role of Anand, a character which is similar to Shah Rukh's role in the film. This will be the first time that Arjun and Drashti will be sharing the screen space.
