Papri Ghosh is the latest addition to the growing cast of Vijay's forthcoming movie. She is the third heroine to be signed after Keerthy Suresh and Aparna Vinod.
The Bengali babe will be doing the role of YG Mahendran's daughter in "Vijay 60." Although she is not the main female lead, the actress will share screen presence with the hero in many scenes. It has to be noted that Mahendra enacts the role of an employee with Ilayathalapathy in the forthcoming Tamil film.
In an interview to The Times of India, Papri Ghosh revealed that she was impressed by Vijay's down-to-earth attitude when she met him for the first time on the sets. "I told him a 'hi' on the first day of shoot, as I was a bit nervous. But from the second day, he made me feel comfortable. He asked me how it was to work with his dad in my previous film. I also remember him lying on floor, that too, on a dirty mat, during the break. Being such a big star," she told the daily.
Papri Ghosh started her acting career in Bengali films before venturing into Kollywood with "Touring Talkies." Currently, she is busy working in two more Tamil movies.
