But, master-blaster has his magic beyond the borders too as Pakistani cricket lovers too paid tribute to Tendulkar after he announced his retirement. Tendulkar, who made his debut against bitter rivals Pakistan in 1989 as a sixteen-year old, has gone on to accumulate 15,837 runs in 198 tests and 18,426 runs in 463 one-day internationals. In Pakistani home to cricket, Lahore, a local coach dubbed Tendulkar’s retirement as shock to cricket on Thursday.
