Quetta, Oct 21: A 7.7 magnitude quake struck Balochistan province on September 24 followed by a similar magnitude earthquake four days later. Official figures say 376 people died and 200,000 had their lives disrupted. But, the locals claim that over 1,000 people have died. Pakistan authorities failed to provide food, shelter and medicine to those survived in Awaran, the epicenter of the disaster.
