Pailwaan movie review by audience: Live updates

Sudeep's much-hyped movie Pailwaan has hit the screens to a massive hype on Thursday, 12 September. The movie reunites Kiccha with director S Krishna after hit movie Hebbuli.

The movie has Aakansha Singh in the female lead with Kabir Singh and Sushant Singh doing the negative roles. Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, who has his roots in Mangaluru, is playing an important role in the mega-budget project.

Sudeep's favourite Arjun Janya has scored the music and a few songs that include 'Kanmaniye' have stuck the chord with the viewers. Karunakar A has handled the cinematography, while Ruben has edited the flick. Here is the Official Review of Pailwaan

Story:

Pailwaan is a sports drama which revolves around Krishna (Sudeep), a wrestler-turned-boxer. He is an orphan brought up by Sarkar (Suniel Shetty), who wants him to win the gold medal at the national level wrestling competition. At this juncture, he falls in love with Rukmini (Aakansha Singh) following which the story takes a major twist. 

The first half is little slow, but the second half is highly entertaining. Kiccha Sudeep steals the show with his performance. Suniel Shetty comes out with a matured performance, while Aakansha Singh is charming in her debut film. Kabir Singh is excellent as the arrogant boxer.  

Arjun Janya's music, well-choreographed action sequences and cinematography enhance the overall quality of Pailwaan. Check out the netizens' response to the film in their own words below:
