New Delhi, July 14 (ANI): The Election Commission's show- cause notice to former CM of Maharashtra, Ashok Chavan in the paid news case met with varied reactions from leaders of different political parties. On one hand, Sanjay Raut of the Shiv Sena stated that he welcomes the decision as it sends out a clear message to everyone that corruption will not be spared. While on the other hand, Naresh Agarwal of the SP was of the opinion that strict action should be taken against the media, which sometimes forces leaders to pay for the news to be published. Majid Memon said that this was a quasi- judicial procedure and it was too early to accuse Ashok Chavan for any offense.
