The 87th Academy Awards ended with Alejandro González Iñárritu's "Birdman" receiving the maximum number of awards.
While Eddie Redmayne won the best actor title for his performance in "The Theory of Everything", Julianne Moore was awarded the best actress for the film "Still Alice".
The event witnessed the best red carpet arrivals of celebs, including Redmayne, Moore, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Dakota Johnson, Lady Gaga, Felicity Jones, Rosamund Pike, Reese Witherspoon, Lupita Nyong'o, Anna Faris, Anna Kendrick, Neil Patrick Harris, Margot Robbie,Viola Davis and Jamie Chung, among others in one of their best attires.
However, white and neutral shades were prominent this year as many celebs, including Witherspoon and Nyong'o, among others were seen wearing gorgeous white gowns. Meanwhile, "Gone Girl" actress Pike and Johnson stole the show with their red hot gowns.
Best actress Moore looked classic in her cream and metallic Chanel gown by Karl Lagerfeld during the glamorous Hollywood night of the year. Nyong'o arrived at the Academy awards in Francisco Costa's custom-designed Calvin Klein Collection embellished with 6,000 pearls.
While Pike looked gorgeous in Givenchy gown, Kendrick wowed everyone in her pink Thakoon gown and diamond accessories.
Robbie wore a Yves Saint Laurent dress and completed her look with Van Cleef & Arpels 1930s necklace.
Surprisingly Lady Gaga chose to cover up this time. She wore three custom-made Azzedine Alaia pieces and a white embellished gown with long red gloves.
