It's unfortunate when you want to do something good but it backfires. That's exactly what happened with the Half-Girlfriend actress when she posted a picture for the Indian Army.
She captioned it as: "They freeze to make sure that we are warm. They protect to make sure that we feel safe. Can never thank you Jawaans enough."
And she was trolled immediately. A website called SM Hoax Slayer tweeted: "Good thought. We all agree but this particular photo is of Russian Army. We are already proud of our soldiers, don't need fake ones to escalate our respect."
Well, too sad. She was trolled by many others on her status. Let's see if the actress deletes the post and reacts on this.
On the professional front, Shraddha Kapoor bagged a big opportunity this year as she will appear opposite Baahubali actor Prabhas in South movie Saaho. It is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and will be dubbed into Malayalam and other languages later.
But do you know who the first choice was for Saaho? It was not Shraddha of course, but there were several reports that Anushka Shetty will reunite with Prabhas in this flick. Interestingly, she was also not the first choice.
The initial choice of the female lead in Saaho was Alia Bhatt. But well, Shraddha desperately need a hit movie at this point as a few of her previous movies didn't do well at the box office. So, bagging a movie opposite a superstar might change her career graph.
Saaho is an action-thriller written and directed by Sujeeth, and Pramod and V Vamsi Krishna Reddy are bankrolling it under UV Creations banner.
Shraddha is also busy shooting for a biopic titled Saina, based on the badminton champion, which is in its pre-production stage.
