Specification details of the eagerly awaited OnePlus X has been leaked online, revealing the device will have top notch hardware and yet come with a pocket-friendly price.

For the past few weeks, we have been hearing conflicting reports on OnePlus X (aka OnePlus 2 Mini); one said the device would house a 2.2GHz Helio X10 (MT6795T) series SoC (System on Chip), while another said it will feature Snapdragon 801 series quad-core CPU.

Now, it has come to light the former report is likely to turn true. Technology blog G for Games, citing a company insider, has confirmed that OnePlus X will indeed come shipped with MediaTek's new processor, similar to the one we see in Xiaomi Redmi Note 2.

Even the recently leaked OnePlus X's AnTuTu benchmark scoresheet has shown the same. It reportedly showed the device scoring impressive 54,311 points, way more than Samsung's Galaxy Note 4, Asus Zenfone 2 and other tier-1 brands.

The sources have also tipped that OnePlus X will make its debut in November or in early December and come with a price tag of around $250 (€222/Rs. 16,323).

Other specifications of the device include 5.0-inch full HD display, 700 MHz PowerVR G6200 graphics engine, 933MHz 2GB LPDDR3 series RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory ( v5.0 eMMC), 3000 mAh battery, 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording, dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP snapper on the front with full HD video recording.

Going by the rumoured price and specifications ratio, OnePlus X seems to be promising and has the potential to stir up a huge storm in the mid-range category smartphone market, just its predecessor OnePlus One in top-end segment.

Stay tuned for more updates.
