OnePlus launches Oxygen OS for OnePlus One smartphonesOnePlus

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has released a software patch to fix the touch-screen glitch, which has been nagging flagship handset One for the last few months.

The company claims that the new update is a beta version, and hence might not give the desired results after installation. Users might also encounter some side effects. However, don't jump the gun just yet, as we believe that even if there is any bug in the software, it is most likely benign and will not have any adverse effect on the device's performance.

That being said, we would like to remind that this procedure is very technical and should be performed by a person with sound knowledge of rooting (or manual software installation) Android devices. If the step-by-step installation process is not followed properly, there are chances of the smartphone getting bricked or being permanently irreparable. International Business Times, India Edition cannot be held responsible for any damage or claims from readers if the procedure does not yield the required results or if the smartphone is bricked. Hence, users are advised to proceed with caution.
