The trailer of upcoming Telugu film "Oka Laila Kosam" is released. The trailer introduces the characters played by Naga Chaitanya and Pooja Hegde. The film is directed by Vijay Kumar Konda, who is known for his hit film "Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde" (2013).

"Oka Laila Kosam" is the debut Telugu film for former Miss Universe Runner up Pooja Hegde. She had previously acted in Tamil film "Mugamoodi" (2012) opposite Jiiva. She played the character of Shakthi, daughter of a Police Deputy Commissioner. The film opened in theatres with mixed reviews.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya already had two releases this year. The first was "Manam". The film saw three generations of Akkineni family coming together. It had the star cast of Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Shriya Saran.
The film was also known for cameo appearances of Amithabh Bachchan and Akkineni Amala. It opened in theatres with positive reviews and became huge box office collection. The second one was "Auto Nagar Surya" directed by Deva Kutta. It opened in theatres on 27 June and received average reviews from the critics.
"Oka Laila Kosam" was launched in December last year and is now slated to release in the first week of September. Majority of the film is shot in various locations of Telangana and Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. The song sequences of the film were shot in Switzerland.
The film also has a huge star cast of Brahmanandam, Ali, Prabhu Ganeshan, Nassar, Ashish Vidyarthi, Supreet, Madhu, Pragathi and Sudha.
The script for "Oka Laila Kosam" is done by Vijay Kumar Konda. The music for the film is composed by Anoop Rubens. The cinematography is handled by Andrews and is edited by Praveen Pudi. The film is produced by Nagarjuna under the banner of Annapurna Studios.
