Bhubaneshwar, Mar 30 (ANI): As India prepares for general elections, maoist red hit area in Odisha deploys additional security forces along with three helicopters. The poling authorities are being more cautious this time as the area has the history of witnessing Maoist attacks in the last elections which had taken place in the year 2009. Chief electoral officer (CEO), Mona Sharma on Saturday said the copters are likely to reach a couple of days before polling day. This time special emphasis has been on preventing the recurrence of incidents of burning and snatching of electronic voting machines by Maoists from polling booths which had taken place in the last general elections.
