Nupur Sanon, Stebin Ben married per Hindu tradition; couple hug, kiss after varmala ceremony

Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon's younger sister, Nupur Sanon, tied the knot with singer Stebin Ben according to Christian rituals on Saturday, and the couple shared dreamy photos from their white wedding. After their Christian ceremony, the couple also took part in saath pheras, following Hindu customs, entering wedlock in the presence of close friends and family.

Although Nupur and Stebin haven't shared photos from their Hindu rituals, a video has gone viral showing them on the mandap dressed in traditional Indian attire, radiating the glow of newlyweds. In the clips, they are seen holding hands and raising them together, with fireworks in the background, making the ritual solemnized with the blessings of God.

In the viral clip, Stebin is seen wearing an ivory shimmery sherwani, while Nupur opted for a red lehenga, making her a perfect Hindu bride as she skipped pastel and subtle colours.

Several videos show Kriti Sanon walking Nupur down the aisle as she carried a phoolon ki chaadar (flower canopy) over her. Nupur and Stebin shared a warm hug after the varmala ceremony.

Another video from the mandap shows Stebin dancing to the iconic Bollywood track Sajan Ji Ghar Aaye, Dulhan Kyun Sharmaaye.

Several other videos and pictures from their pre-wedding Hindu festivities have gone viral, showing Stebin and Nupur dancing to many Bollywood songs. In one clip, Stebin bows down to Nupur, a beautiful gesture that left netizens gushing.

Fans praised him for being humble and crushing his male ego and bowing down in love.

Present at the wedding were Mouni Roy with her husband Suraj, Disha, Varun Sharma, and others.

Mouni took to Instagram Stories to pen a heartfelt note for her favourite couple, Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben, showering love on the newlyweds and calling them beautiful human beings.

Posting a picture of Nupur and Stebin sharing a kiss after saying "I do," Mouni wrote, "Heartiest congratulations to one of my fav couples & best beautiful hoomans inside out. May this be the beginning of your most wonderful, magical, meaningful journey together. All my love @nupursanon @stebinben."

She also shared another photo with the bride, adding, "One with the prettiest bride, a girl who has my heart now @nupursanon." 

On Sunday, Mouni and Disha shared a few mesmerising photographs from their fairytale nuptials. Nupur opted for a classic off-shoulder white wedding gown, while Stebin complemented her in an off-white tuxedo jacket with a black lapel and bow tie.

Kriti Sanon performed the bridesmaids' duties, looking gorgeous in a green off-shoulder dress, and expressed her delight at seeing her sister as a bride. "My heart is so full!! Love, Happiness, Blessings #StebinNupur," she shared.

After keeping everyone guessing about their relationship, Nupur and Stebin made it official earlier this month with a romantic engagement announcement. The photos showed Stebin down on one knee on a beautifully decorated yacht, proposing to Nupur while performers held "Will you marry me?" placards in the backdrop. Sharing the dreamy proposal photos, Nupur wrote, "In a world full of maybes, I found the easiest YES I've ever had to say."
