Krish's most-awaited film NTR Kathanayakudu starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan, has reportedly won the hearts of the officials of the censor board and got positive review from them.
The officials of censor board watched NTR Kathanayakudu on January 4. They were said to be very much impressed with Krish's scripting and direction, Balakrishna and Vidya Balan's performances and top-notch production values. They have rewarded the film a U certificate without any cut. The film is set for grand release on January 9 and it will be a clean family entertainer this Sankranti festival.
Soon after its censorship, several Twitter handles revealed the response of the sources from the censor board. According to them, the first half of the film is good and the second half boasts of racy and eventful narration. The climax is excellent. Lead actors performances, background score and picturisation are big attractions and they will help it become a blockbuster at the box office.

NTR Kathanayakudu is the first instalment in the two part biographical film, based on the life of NT Rama Rao. The movie has been produced by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati Ranganatha, Vishnu Induri under the banners NBK Films, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram and Vibri Media.
The sources from the censor board claimed that NTR Kathanayakudu has a runtime of 170 minutes, excluding the no smoking ads. Though its duration appears to be slightly lengthier, it is justified as it is difficult to squeeze in the life story of a stalwart who had made huge contribution to politics and film industry.
