The first teaser of the upcoming film "Now You See Me 2" has been released by Entertainment One and Summit Entertainment, and the magicians will be returning with a few new faces.

The old cast of Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman return for the sequel of the 2013 American thriller "Now You See Me".

While Isla Fisher is not returning as Henley, Lizzy Caplan has joined the cast as the newest member of the Four Horsemen along with Ruffalo, Harrelson, Eisenberg and Franco.

However, the biggest highlight of the trailer is the introduction of "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe, who will play the role of Walter Tressler, son of Arthur Tressler from the first movie, who seeks to bring the Four Horsemen to justice after his father's imprisonment.

Jon M Chu, known for directing movies like "Step Up 2: The Streets", "Step Up 3D," and "G.I. Joe: Retaliation", has replaced Loius Letterier as the director of this sequel.

From the looks of the trailer, it seems the film will be follow the original formula from the first movie – flashy illusions and tricks, vibrant cinematography, and emphasis on the charisma of the leading cast.

The formula worked for the first film, and there is no reason why it shouldn't work for the sequel as well. Lionsgate, which is already developing a third film for the franchise, has concurred on this.

However, there are some aspects that have been completely ignored in the trailer. For example, there is no explanation regarding the non-appearance of Henley's character. It seems the other cast members are totally okay with this, though, and don't even care she is missing from the team.

Another significant cast member from the first film, Melanie Laurent, is also not returning, and it has absolutely no effect on any of the male members.

Nevertheless, the trailer looks interesting and intriguing as it is fun to watch Daniel Radcliffe, who is popular as the world's most famous wizard among fiction fans, to botch a simple magic trick.

The second trailer is expected to release soon and may reveal more information regarding the plot and characters.

"Now You See Me 2" is scheduled to release in theatres on 10 June, 2016. Watch the trailer here.
