Bengaluru based technology start-up firm, Notion Ink has released the second-generation Adam series tablet into the Indian market.

Notion Ink's Adam 2 sports 10.1-inch HD (1280x800p) IPS LCD screen and secondary STN (Super Twisted Nematic) screen panel (100x5p) on the spine of the device, specifically incorporated to display important notifications and other contextual information.

The new tablet runs on the Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, powered by a 1.5GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor aptly backed by quad-core Mali 400 graphics engine, 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB).

Other stipulated features include 3.15-megapixel main camera, a front camera and a 6000 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery. On connectivity front, it boasts of Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), mini-HDMI port, micro-USB port and 3G network support (available in SIM variant).

Notion Ink Adam 2 is available in two variants- One a Wi-Fi only model for ₹16,499 and another Wi-Fi+3G model that costs ₹18,999. Prospective buyers can place orders for the new tablet PC at the company's official website.
