Much like Salman Khan's "Sultan", Hrithik Roshan's next with Sanjay Gupta has been grabbing headlines for its hunt for a leading lady.

After Kareena Kapoor Khan and Parineeti Chopra rejected the offer to star opposite the suave actor, the makers are reportedly considering Anushka Sharma for the role, spotboye reported.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time their names were taken in the same breath. A few years ago, there were conjectures of them signing Shekhar Kapur's ambitious "Paani", which eventually went to Sushant Singh Rajput, or so it has been reported.

Meanwhile, Parineeti let go of the opportunity to work with Hrithik as she is now taking time to okay scripts. "She has become very picky and does not want to go wrong with her choices. She doesn't mind being a little late, but better late than sorry," DNA quoted a source close to the actress as saying. Kareena, on the other hand, wasn't too keen on playing a blind girl in the film and was also unsure of the length of her role.

To be produced by Rakesh Roshan, the project has Hrithik thrilled, so much so that he decided on pushing back Yash Raj Films' "Thug" to accommodate dates for the film in question. He, too, will be seen playing a visually-impaired person in the film.

In other news, the actor is currently looking at wrapping up Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro", which is set to release in August, and Anushka is working on the second schedule of Karan Johar's Diwali release "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil".
