A day before her birthday, Sonakshi Sinha was the one who gifted some cheer to her fans. She announced her next project, "Noor" and shared her first looks in the film. She followed the goodies with another treat on June 2, which is her birthday, when she shared a video named "Noor" flash, as a sneak peak in the character's life.

The video shows the life of a girl named Noor Roy Chaudhary, who is a journalist. The one-minute two-second clip is about how Noor's daily routine, which includes posting status messages and selfies on social media every minute. The video, which ends with #iamNOOR, also tells us that the character is adorable, impulsive, dreamer, impatient and confused.

The film, to be helmed by Sunhil Sippy, will go on the floors in July. It is expected to be wrapped up by August. The movie is based on writer Saba Imtiaz's novel, "Karachi, You're Killing Me," which was released in 2014. It will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Vikram Malhotra. Other actors in the film have not been cast yet.

According to a Mumbai Mirror report, the movie is a beautiful story, which revolves around the character of Sonakshi, Noor, as she navigates relationships, career, aspirations, life choices, infatuations and body image issues. 

The "Tevar" actress shared the flash video of "Noor" on Twitter with an interesting caption that read: She's every girl. She's #Noor #IAmNoor #Happy #GotMyGlowOn Here's a peek. Presenting the #NoorFlash Hope u enjoy it." She further gave the details of the video also. The awesome #NoorFlash has been helmed by our @NoorTheFilm director, @sunhilsippy, music is by @amaalmallik #Noor @Abundantia_Ent @TSeries," Sonakshi tweeted.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi is busy with several projects. Two of her upcoming films, "Akira" and "Force 2," to be released this year. She recently gave her nod to a project by Shah Rukh Khan's production house. The film, which is a remake of "Ittefaq," will see her starring opposite Sidharth Mahotra. Also, Sonakshi will be seen in Vipul Shah's "Namastey England" opposite Akshay Kumar.
