The much-anticipated Nokia X aka Normandy Android smartphone, which is yet to make its official debut, has been spotted at a Vietnam-based online shop, revealing the price and specifications details the device.

Vietnamese retailer 'Mai Nguyen' has listed the alleged Android phone - Nokia X A110 - and stated the device would cost around 2.2 to 2.5 million VND (Vietnamese Dong), approximately between ₹6,500 and ₹7,380 ($100). The page was pulled down from the website, soon after the report went viral on the internet. But by then, a 'Techrum' forum member had taken a screenshot of the page.

The screengrab revealed the Nokia X A110 would flaunt a 4.0-inch TFT screen with 480x800p (WVGA) resolution, having pixel density of 285 ppi (pixels per inch). Under the hood, it is said to pack a 1GHz Snapdragon 200 series dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB) and a 5.0-megapixel main camera.

Though the specifications disclosed by the website are in line with the previous reports about Normandy, there is still a tinge of uncertainty over the launch of the Android phone, considering Nokia is on the verge of getting acquired by Microsoft in March. But many tech blogs are betting high that Nokia might use this device to replace the budget Asha series.

Nokia X reportedly ships with a tweaked Android OS (without Google Play) integrated with the firm's in-house built 'Here Maps' service, as well as Microsoft's software support, probably to appease the company's new owners to keep the device in the market. Several leaked snapshots of the Nokia X have shown a 'tile' based interface, as we see in the current Windows Phone OS.

In late January, the Finnish company had sent out a press invite titled "Meet Us Under The Tree" to select media houses, inviting them to attend a special conference at the upcoming MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2014, Barcelona. Rumor has it that the company would finally pull the wraps off Nokia X at the event.
