Finnish handset maker Nokia on Tuesday pulled the wraps off its 4.7-inch Lumia 625, the company's biggest smartphone to date.

"With our largest smartphone screen to date, the Nokia Lumia 625 is a perfect example of how Nokia is delivering leading smartphone innovation and experiences at every price point," said Jo Harlow, executive vice president, Nokia Smart Devices.

Nokia's new generation Lumia 625 smartphone sports a 4.7-inch IPS super sensitive LCD WVGA (800x480p) screen with a pixel density of 201 ppi (pixels per inch) and runs on the Windows Phone 8 OS powered by1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor. It packs 512MB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card.

Camera wise, Lumia 625 flaunts a pretty descent 5.0-megapixel camera with LED flash support and a secondary VGA camera on the front.

The company has confirmed that the new smartphone, priced €220 (around ₹17,320), is expected to hit select markets such as India, China, Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Latin America in Q3, 2013.
