Nokia finally announced the long-rumoured gadget Lumia 2520, which happens to be its first ever tablet. The device was introduced at the Nokia World Event on 22 October 2013 in Abu Dhabi.

After several online leaks in the past few months, Lumia 2520 is all set to take on its potential rival Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), announced a few days ago.

While both give a stiff competition to each other in the 10-in screen tablet segment, one would have to compare their key specifications in order to witness which tablet wins the battle.

Following is the comparison of both the devices' key features:

Display

Nokia Lumia 2520: Sports a 10.1-in Full HD IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen with 218ppi pixel density, along with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 screen protection and ClearBlack Display.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition): Features a 10.1-in Super Clear LCD Capacitive touch screen, with 299ppi pixel density and no screen protection, according to GSM Arena.

While Nokia flaunts its first Full HD resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels), Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) boasts a WQXGA 2560x1600 pixel resolution, which is far more crystal clear and detailed.

Memory

Nokia Lumia 2520: Comes with in-built memory storage of 32GB and supports microSD card up to 32GB. The device also comes with 2GB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition): Will be available in 16GB/32GB/64GB in-built memory storage variants, along with the microSD card support up to 64GB. The device includes 3GB RAM.

Camera

Nokia Lumia 2520: Features a 6.7 megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a 2 megapixel front facing camera.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition): Comes with 8 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera.

Processors

Nokia Lumia 2520: Runs on Microsoft Windows RT OS and is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU for handling graphics.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition): Runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU for graphics.

Note: The 3G version of Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a 1.9GHz quad-coreCortex A15 and 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor.

Though Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) still wins the fight, Nokia's effort stays well appreciated as it is the firm's first tablet ever and also the first device to carry a Full HD screen resolution.
