Nokia Lumia 1520 Specifications Leaked Again; Confirms 20.7-MP Camera and Snapdragon 800 Series CPU

With less than a week left before the Nokia World Event kicks off, the Finnish company's upcoming flagship phablet Lumia 1520's specifications and price details have been leaked online.

Technology blog NPU (Nokia Power User), citing sources, revealed key features and price details (US) of the Lumia 1520. The report said that new Nokia phone would boast a 6.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display and pack a 2GHz Snapdragon 800 series quad-core CPU, Adreno 330 graphics engine, 2GB RAM and 3400 mAh.

The sources also claimed that the Lumia 1520 would come in two storage variants: 32GB and 64GB models, with microSD card support and would sport 20.7-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) dual-capture mode (lets user snap a picture with 5.0-MP and 16-MP mode simultaneously), Panorama backed by camera specific applications. They also revealed that the international variants will reportedly feature a built-in wireless charging pad.

The blog tells that after the launch of Lumia 1520 at Nokia World Event on 22 October, the American network carrier would release the flagship phablet in US around second week of November for $299 (₹18,500) - with contract & $699 (₹43,230) - unlocked. Global launch is expected to happen in early December.

Apart from Lumia 1520 launch, Nokia is also rumoured to pull the wraps on the company's first ever tablet PC Lumia 2520 along with four new devices at the Abu Dabhi event on 22 October. On the very same day, rivals Apple Inc is also slated to reveal the much anticipated iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2, whicha are expeted to feature 'Touch ID' finger print sensor.
