After a strong and an impactful winter finale, "Limitless" is on a two-week break. CBS telecast episode 11, titled "This is Your Brian on Drugs", on 15 December, and will not air episode 12, titled "The Assassination of Eddie Morra", as per its schedule on Tuesday, 22 December. The fans can now look forward to watching the next episode only next year, on 5 January, 2016.
Last week's episode 11, titled "This is Your Brian on Drugs", turned out to be a very eventful one. The winter finale not only garnered some strong ratings on the chart, but also had very strong plot.
"This is Your Brian on Drugs" focused equally on each and every character of the show. Though the episode was titled after Brian, the viewers got to see more of Mike, Ike, Rebecca and Cassey Rooks.
We got to watch how Casey Rooks got high with NZT and low (when he unfortunately died). And at the end of the episode, Agent Spelman Boyle found a loose NZT pill below his desk at the CJC office.
Now, there's no official synopsis released by CBS for episode 12, but if we have to analyse the episode title, "The Assassination of Eddie Morra", then it looks like episode 12 will be all about Eddie Morra possibly getting assassinated.
Having said that, fans would want to get answers to a few questions when the series returns in 2016. Most obvious question that has been haunting everyone after the winter finale is when will Eddie find out that Brian told his father about the NZT and what will Boyle do with the NZT pills that he took for himself at the end of episode 11?
Meanwhile, we think, another plot focusing on Brian-Rebecca romantic involvement should also develop at this point in the story.
